VO and VO Gold teamed up with ID Society to reinvent its online presence through an interactive digital solution. The goal of the redesign was to make VO and VO Gold the preeminent liquor Web site on the Internet. ID Society planned to extend the VO Gold brand identity beyond pictures and content, doing everything shy of having the user actually stand behind the bar and hold the bottle.
ID Society created a fully interactive Web site with value-added features such as epostcards (electronic postcards), wallpaper, personalized labels, and a sweepstakes section. The Web site engaged visitors and strengthened their understanding of the brand by communicating the youthful and hip VO and VO Gold attitude.
ID Society also created a secure administrative interface for Seagram. This interface enabled Seagram to monitor content submitted by viewers for placement in the VO and VO Gold message board, recipe book, and top 10 lists.
The site's intuitive design, user-supplied content and engaging features allowed viewers to immerse themselves in the brand, while VO and VO Gold monitored content.
