The largest and most popular Asian restaurant in New York City is TAO. TAO Restaurant has been taking guests on an epicurean journey through the cuisines of China, Japan and Thailand since 2000. The goal of their Web site was to create an online vision of the restaurant that reflects the décor, food and luxuriousness of the brand. Using smart web site development and web design, ID Society was able to accurately display the ambitious vision of the restaurant, blending cutting-edge web technology with traditionally Asian-inspired hues and motifs. Innovations included the ability to view over thirty 360-degree views of the restaurant\'s interior using iMove technology (a Java applet), an animated origami lesson as an introduction and extensive Flash Macromedia animations throughout the Web site. Visitors can take a virtual tour of the restaurant and review the menu before making their reservation online.
