You're in a theatre. The lights dim, the screen lights up, and you see... an advertising sales executive citing numbers. It doesn't fit, does it? That's what AMC Networks thought, and we agreed. So, when they came to us to add a little movie-glamour to their media Upfront, we knew it was time to think outside the boardroom.
We re-imagined the traditional media sales pitch as a big-time Hollywood premiere, transforming the boardroom into a mini-movie theater and running trailers highlighting AMC programming areas. Using animation and produced video, we screened a three-minute main attraction that infused AMC's media pitch CD-ROM with enough emotional electricity to light a thousand marquees.
After the credits rolled, we kept the excitement alive with a Sales Web site and sales incentives designed to support ongoing efforts and help AMC close the deal. The result was an impact as big as the silver screen.
